How does a portfolio photography session work?

Every session is prepared around your objective: castings, agency submissions, an artistic portfolio, modelling or personal promotion. From our first conversation to the delivery of your images, you are guided throughout the process to create a portfolio that feels coherent, personal and genuinely useful for your next steps.

1. Discussing your project

We begin by talking about your work, your goals, the type of images you need and how your portfolio will be used. This helps us choose the right package, setting and level of preparation for your project.

2. Preparing outfits and visual references

Before the shoot, we discuss your outfits, visual references, accessories and possible moods. Depending on the package, we also define the background, lighting, location and overall visual direction of the session.

3. Choosing the right setting

Your session can take place in the studio in Montrouge for more controlled and timeless portraits, or outdoors in Paris for images with more movement, atmosphere and storytelling.

4. Guided photography session

You are guided throughout the shoot: posture, eye contact, expression, movement, pace and framing. You do not need previous experience in front of the camera — we build the images gradually to create portraits that feel natural, strong and true to your profile.

5. Private selection gallery

After the session, you receive a private online gallery where you can select your preferred images and share any retouching requests.

6. Retouching and image delivery

Your selected images are finalised with retouching adapted to their intended use: light and natural for agency polaroids, more refined for casting headshots, artist portfolios or editorial series. Final photographs are delivered in colour and black and white, in formats suited to casting submissions, agencies, websites and social media.
